About Our Troop

Troop 176 has been active since 1921. We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings and have lots of activities throughout the year. During the past year, we had camping trips along the Appalachian trail, a canoe trip in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, a campout on a Battleship, a bike trip, a ski trip, and a day of shooting and archery at the Delaware County Field and Stream Club.

Troop 176 is a great group. We look out for each other, and everyone else. We learn about knots, camping, and other survival skills. The camping trips are really fun.

In July 2009, another scout from Troop 176 has earned Eagle rank, becoming the 30th Eagle Scout in our troop since 2000. Congratulations to Stephen!
